15 July 2013 - The Attorney General’s Office and the Mississippi Prosecutors Association are hosting the Municipal Prosecutors Seminar in conjunction with the Mississippi Municipal League on July 15, 2013, at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Coliseum.
The Mississippi Attorney General’s Office is pleased to announce its annual State Government Attorneys’ CLE seminar on June 13 and 14, 2013 at the Mississippi Department of Education in the Old Central High School.
ALL Dispatch and TAC Officers in the State of Mississippi -This 4 hour training session is designed for dispatchers and TAC Officers who will have duties related to searching domestic abuse protection orders and/or criminal dispositions into the MS POR System who has not previously attended training conducted by the MS Attorney General’s Office and received a username and password for the system. The training will cover various aspects of Mississippi law, and specific instruction on dispatcher and TAC officer duties under those laws.
All Court Clerks in the State of Mississippi - This important training is a 4-hour session and will provide clerks or deputy clerks in a Municipal, Justice, County, Circuit or Chancery Courts with instruction on entering protection orders into the Protection Order Registry and entering dispositions in misdemeanor and felony domestic violence matters into the Uniform Offense Report via the ReportBeam System. Any court clerk or deputy court clerk having duties related to entering protection orders into the MS Protection Order Registry or entering criminal dispositions into the MS Uniform Offense Report who has not previously received training should attend one of these sessions.
