Public Information Office
The Public Information Office (PIO) is responsible for the preparation of official reports, publication of educational brochures and pamphlets, production of public service announcements, and the periodic publication of informative newsletters for the Mississippi Attorney General’s Office. We also assist the public with information requests. Our principle focus is the dissemination of office information to the public through the media. A large part of this is the writing and distribution of news releases to all media outlets within our state.
